...in this AQ course:
1. It is essential for me to include technology integration in my long range and unit plans. This will also make me more accountable for ensuring my identified students have regular access to assistive technology.
2. Assistive technology used for identified students can support the learning for ALL students in my classroom.
3. There is a wealth of knowledge about software and technology in my school. As a staff, however, we need to better plan and organize how to more effectively share this knowledge/experience.
Also, I think it would be effective if we could ensure the technology in the schools would work properly for our identified students! As an Educational Assistant, I unfortunately spend a good portion of my time with my students trying to get the technology to work. It becomes frustrating for the student. (It is more a network issue not the "fault" of our tech guy at school! He is amazing!)
